About
The Full Story
This work is personal because I’ve been on the other side as a family member.

When my mum was navigating complex healthcare, I saw firsthand how overwhelming the system can be when you’re not the one wearing the uniform.
Even with good clinicians involved, it was hard to know what was happening, what questions to ask, and how to speak up without feeling like you were causing problems.

I understood the system professionally but watching someone you love move through it is different. You’re tired. You’re emotional. And the stakes feel high. It’s easy to doubt yourself or worry you might miss something important.

That experience stayed with me.

It reinforced something I’d already seen throughout my career: families often don’t need more information, they need help making sense of it, and support to engage confidently without conflict.

Informed Health Navigation was created so families don’t have to carry that weight alone. I bring both professional experience and personal understanding to this work, and I approach it with care, respect, and calm.
